One of our main focal points at Red Rock Canyon School is to provide opportunities for struggling teens to participate in activities and programs that they have not had access to previously. Our multimedia arts program is one of these experiential education programs that provides positive opportunities and exposure to professional skills that these teens can focus on instead of their previous negative behaviors. At Red Rock Canyon School our students have the opportunity, as part of their therapy and treatment, to participate in songwriting and musical engineering classes in our fully functional recording studio on campus. The students find that they can truly enjoy these activities, and feel a sense of accomplishment and self-worth when they complete a project. Many of our youth find it easy to forget about drug abuse, anger issues, defiant behaviors, and other problems that they face when they are working in a team toward a common goal to complete a project like this music video.

Red Rock Canyon School is a state-licensed residential treatment facility for adolescents, ages twelve to eighteen, with behavioral and/or emotional problems who require a level of structure and treatment beyond that which is available in traditional outpatient clinics.

In this positive environment, our youth are provided with opportunities to look beyond themselves as they act as positive role models for newer program residents and participate in community service projects. Participation in our enrichment, recreational and vocational training programs further complement their preparation for life challenges and their overall sense of happiness and well-being.

Red Rock Canyon School's equine program is designed to help our struggling teens to recognize and cope with life's difficulties.
Red Rock Canyon School Recreational Program
Red Rock Canyon School has an extensive recreation program to help struggling teens. The youth participate in weekly therapeutic activities off campus with our full-time recreation coordinator.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is provided to help the students gain insight into their behavior and gives them an opportunity to establish a trusting relationship with their counselor.
