Most Rewarding Aspect of Working With Youth:Being a part of the positive changes that they are making in their lives. These kids are at such a vulnerable age in their life and it is important to be a positive role model. I enjoy seeing them gain their confidence and self-esteem back. Seeing them build a sense of belonging and a sense that they can accomplish things, and seeing them reunite with their family. Seeing them start to recognize their strengths and rise to their full potential.

About Me:
I have lived in this area for nearly all of my life. I anjoy this area because it is so diverse and there are so many outdoor activities that you can do nearby. I have also worked as a web developer for almost fifteen years now and enjoy working with computers, networks and telecommunications. I have completed three years of pre-medical classes, which prompted me to become a certified EMT and go through paramedic school. I still plan to attend medical school when life allows.
Hobbies and Interests:
I love paintballing and snowboarding, they help me to get my mind off of a hard day as a paramedic, or to get me moving after a day of working on computers.
Which set of skills that students experience at Red Rock greatly impacts their success?:
I believe that the person that can learn patience will benefit greatly in life. When I see someone that is impatient, I can usually also see the stress, anger and frustration that the individual is also experiencing. I view patience as a key to a better life.
What is the most rewarding aspect of working with youth?:
Being able to teach them something that they didn't know or think about before. And seeing them take what they've learned and make a better life for themselves and the people they interact with.
