University of Phoenix, currently completing a Master’s of Mental Health Counseling preparing for LPC licensure.

Length of Service at Red Rock:
I joined Red Rock beginning in July of 2011

Prior Professional experience working with adolescents:
I have worked with youth in other local residential treatment centers, and coming to Red Rock begins my fourth year of RTC service.

Area of expertise and personal interest:
Human nature continues to intrigue me every day. I love working with people and the issues and happiness which encompasses humanity.

About Me:
I love to share the passion of growth with people as we all have the capability to grow and flourish.

Hobbies & Interests:
Reading, sports, family, and other experiences which provide growth and personal enlightenment.

Which set of skills that students experience at Red Rock greatly impacts their success?
I find those students who allow themselves to experience anxiety producing events, and then become aware of these lessons, become more aware of their individual paradigms!

What is the most rewarding aspect of working with youth?
The "ah-ha" moments where the elements of individual perspective is altered, creating a paradigm shift.

Brian was hired with Red Rock in May of 2008

About Me:
Brian was born in Salt Lake City in the early 80's

Prior Professional experience working with adolescents:
He is a hard worker that is dedicated to helping adolescents understand themselves and their impact on the world. He is also involved some different athletic enrichments with some of the kids.

What is the most rewarding aspect of working with youth?
Brian's high point of his job is seeing families be reunified after teens take ownership of their own lives.

I have been working with Red Rock Canyon School since August, 2008 where I started out as residential staff.

Area of expertise and personal interest:
My goal is to further my education so that I can help other youth and adults to the best of my ability.

About Me:
I was born and raised in Ogden, Utah. I moved to St. George, Utah seven years ago to enjoy a change of pace in life and to get away from the snow.

What is the most rewarding aspect of working with youth?
I have enjoyed my experiences working with Red Rock Canyon School and working with the students here.

Length of Service at Red Rock:
I have served the students of Red Rock Canyon School since August of 2006.

About Me:
I love basketball, and I've been coaching girls basketball for a local high school for six years. I'm a compassionate person and have a great deal of patience. I feel that I am fair and self-goverened. I make it a point to talk to students individually and build a rapport with all that are interested.

Prior Professional experience working with adolescents:
I've been working in the mental health field for 17 years now. I started working with troubled youth in 1995. Since then, I have worked with many different types of issues, including sexual addictions, substance abuse, anger management, and defiance. I also director of a treatment program for two years.

Area of expertise and personal interest:
I am a PCS certified instructor. I teach the PCS course to all of the employees here at Red Rock Canyon School. My focus here at Red Rock Canyon School on the weekends is to make sure that all of our students are safe and secure. And, that they are treated with dignity and respect by all direct care staff and students here at Red Rock.

What is the most rewarding aspect of working with youth?
