I find those students who allow themselves to experience anxiety producing events, and then become aware of these lessons, become more aware of their individual paradigms!
What is the most rewarding aspect of working with youth?
The "ah-ha" moments where the elements of individual perspective is altered, creating a paradigm shift.

Brian's high point of his job is seeing families be reunified after teens take ownership of their own lives.

I was born and raised in Ogden, Utah. I moved to St. George, Utah seven years ago to enjoy a change of pace in life and to get away from the snow.

I have enjoyed my experiences working with Red Rock Canyon School and working with the students here.

About Me:
I love basketball, and I've been coaching girls basketball for a local high school for six years. I'm a compassionate person and have a great deal of patience. I feel that I am fair and self-goverened. I make it a point to talk to students individually and build a rapport with all that are interested.
Prior Professional experience working with adolescents:
I've been working in the mental health field for 17 years now. I started working with troubled youth in 1995. Since then, I have worked with many different types of issues, including sexual addictions, substance abuse, anger management, and defiance. I also director of a treatment program for two years.
Area of expertise and personal interest:
I am a PCS certified instructor. I teach the PCS course to all of the employees here at Red Rock Canyon School. My focus here at Red Rock Canyon School on the weekends is to make sure that all of our students are safe and secure. And, that they are treated with dignity and respect by all direct care staff and students here at Red Rock.
