Outcome Statistics

There are many programs throughout the United States designed to help troubled youth. They vary in philosophy, on how they work with the students, and the results they obtain. Wanting to be among the very best, we have instituted a number of proven methods to empower and help our students be more prepared for life and to make better choices in the future.

Obtaining feedback from our students is important to us. This feedback helps us improve and ensure we stay on track.

For the past two years, we have given 160 departing student a survey called the Youth Outcome Questionnaire, a nationally-recognized statistically normed test.  The test is administered within the first week of a students arrival and administered again before the students leave the program.

The following are some of the cummlative statistics of the Questionnaire:

This puts us among the top programs of the country in terms of general overall program effectiveness.

We also created our own Student Satisfaction Survey to get direct feedback on our staff and programs that includes student comments. The statistics that follow not only include our best students, but all our students. They include students who created problems, complained a lot, and left the program early.

All of the following comments were from the last 10 students who departed Red Rock in the November/December 2007 time frame.

"I learned a lot about myself, especially with the therapy packets and learned a lot from the 7 habits book".

"[My therapist] really taught me when I was being oppositional and how I learned my old habits were not working".

In conclusion, not only do we feel are we doing exceptionally well, but we have scientific evidence that we have a program that is helping the great majority of our students make major changes in their lives.
