At Red Rock Canyon School, we believe that real education occurs when one has developed a true love of learning. We seek to instill this idea in our youth, and stress this concept in every aspect of our academic program. Many youth at Red Rock Canyon School have experienced repeated academic problems during their school years. They have been told they are not capable of academic achievement, or that they are lazy or hopeless.

Red Rock Canyon School offers:

• Northwest Accreditation of Schools and Colleges
• Utah State certified teachers and administrators as well as a Certified School Guidance Counselor
• 1 to 16 teacher to student ratio
• Individually administered educational and vocational assessments including: Woodcock-Johnson R Test of Cognitive Ability and Test of Achievement and Career Interest and Ability survey.
• Bi-Monthly Progress Report
• Direct and Independent Study
• Year round school providing the ability for students who are behind to earn make-up credits
• Individual Student Education Plans
• 100% credit transfer for college preparatory courses
• Positive Peer Culture for conducive learning environment

Red Rock Canyon School promotes the development of a positive self image by providing each youth with opportunities to experience academic success. We accomplish this through an accredited curriculum that focuses on a youth's strengths and personal learning style.

We offer a variety of remedial processes, as well as credit courses, which are helpful to such youth not only in adding to completion of school requirements, but also in boosting self esteem through achievement of academic goals.
