Equine Therapy

Equine Therapy

Equine Therapy describes horse therapy as "Equine therapy is the discipline of using horses as a means to provide metaphoric experiences in order to promote emotional growth. The horses provide an excellent way for troubled youth to react when they are otherwise therapy resistant. Equine therapists will usually teach many lessons on ways in which horses learn, react, and follow instructions to the lives of youth themselves."

Red Rock Canyon School offers horse therapy for our teens as an additional method for alternative treatment. Our horse therapy program is done through Falcon Ridge Ranch, and is an additional cost to the tuition for the program. If you would like to find out more information about our horse therapy program please contact us today!
